Lauren's 1 year stats

I wanted to mention that a year has passed since Lauren came home after 2 months in the NICU.  She was sent home on 3/24/10.....here are some pictures of her a few days after she was born and how she is now.  We have been truly blessed by God that Lauren is doing so wonderfully.  I continue to be so thankful for the NICU doctors and nurses who took such good care of her, as well as all of our wonderful family and friends for the support this past year!

Lauren's one year stats:
Height: 29 1/2in (60%)  Weight: 20.15 3/4 oz (50%)  Head: 18 1/4 (80%) Lauren is doing so well that our Pediatrician said we don't need to adjust her stats or adjust her developmental abilities to take into account she was born 2 months early.  She is now crawling, standing and cruising on furniture and likes to hold our hands to walk.  She really just wants to get into whatever her brothers are doing :) She also has her top two teeth in addition to her bottom two.  She LOVES to eat, and will eat all sorts of things from scrambled eggs, deli turkey meat, cheese, fruit, etc.  She loves it when she gets to eat the same things as the boys for lunch...I swear she knows when I give her something different!!

Lots of Family Visits!

This past month we have been fortunate enough to have 2 sets of grandparents come visit us, as well as Uncle Brad!  We celebrated my Mom's 60th birthday in early March, and my Dad & Mary also came for a visit and to celebrate his birthday!  Here is a pic of my brother and I down at the beach...great weather!

The boys have been taking swim lessons since October and are doing VERY well!  They LOVE it, and can't wait to go see Mr. John their wonderful teacher.  Here's a video of them in action!

Lauren turns one!!

Lauren turned one last month, but I'm finally getting around to getting the pictures and videos up now. She is doing really well.  She now says "Dadda" every time she sees Taylor, it is so cute!! (not saying Momma yet).  She also has given up scooting and is now crawling and getting into everything.  Her top two teeth just came in the other day and she has her two bottom teeth.  She is trying to pull herself up to stand, and is actually quite good at holding onto a table or standing by the couch by herself.  She pulled herself up in her crib the other day, so we had to lower the mattress all the way to the bottom because I was afraid she might fall out!  All in all she is a busy busy girl.  She loves anything her brothers play with, which include cars, trains, and pretend power tools :)

Here are some pictures from her birthday "party" a few days later.  Ama was in town so she helped make cupcakes with the boys and then we had a simple celebration at home...but I still made the kids wear the party hats :)

Birthday Month!

Well, its that time of year again :)  Drew and Will celebrated their 3rd birthday this month!  They had a great birthday and it stretched out over a few weeks with a cake on their actual birthday and then a party a few weeks later. Here are a few pictures from the celebrations.  And we are getting ready for

Merry Christmas!  Here is a great shot of the kiddos that our great photographer got.  I can't believe they are all so big :)  The latest news is that Lauren has a tooth!  It came in about a week ago, on the bottom right.  And she is in the process of getting her second one in right next to it.  She is also working on crawling, but she mostly prefers sitting and scooting along.  Drew and Will have been loving preschool and doing so well!  Will can count to 12 without much help and sometimes I find him counting his goldfish crackers during snack.  Drew is as busy as ever and loves to be outside and help me rake leaves and "do clean up".  Drew also loves to help when I'm making things in the kitchen.  He grabs his stool and brings it up to the counter and helps me measure/watches me chop, etc. it is pretty cute.  Maybe someday he will be a chef!

We are getting ready for Christmas vacation...Taylor has two weeks off.  Unfortunately, we aren't traveling as usual to CO this year, as it was just too much with all three kids, but we are looking forward to staying home and doing fun things here.  Legoland, going for walks, etc.

Thanksgiving
